  I am just in town for a few days, from Alberta. I started with absolutely the best French onion soup i have ever had(it's my favorite soup and I seek it out). I ordered a medium rare steak and it was truly the absolute best steak I have ever had. Nothing could compare. Even 20 years of cooking my own. I wish I could tip more but I was a little short of cash(caught here with weather and after xmas). I WILL be back to have this unbelievable meal again. By far it was an eye opener on steak. Thank you all.

  *Edit I forgot to mention the staff was professional, courteous and on point. I felt like I was in a large cities 5 star restaurant. VERY IMPRESSED. Can't wait to be back.

  I like 2 hours from Calgary AB, I'd rather drive the 3 hours for this food.

  I went here twice (lunch and dinner) because I was pretty impressed. You are going to notice the decor right off the bat. Very well restoration in an old stone building. The bar is amazing. I had two different servers and both times the service was attentive. The food was vey good - a crispy chicken burger for lunch and ribs for dinner. The chicken was tender and juicy and the accompanying salad was nice and fresh and has a great balsamic dressing. My ribs were as promised -falling of the bone. Done just right with a delicious bbq sauce. In both cases the portions were more than I could handle, so you won't go away hungry.

  Quaint little café. Pleasantly surprised. Well worth the trip in from the hwy. Food is amazing as is the ambience. Will be visiting again!!
